Who are you, really?
You’ve read my LinkedIn bio, but what about my backstory? I’ll keep it simple. I’m a fun-loving, caring, and passionate woman who might surprise you in more ways than one. I love playing video games daily, grinding through levels to earn the ultimate gear, but I also enjoy spending time outdoors, soaking up the sunshine and actually touching grass.
I’m a big fan of all trying kinds of food (especially anything spicy), playing board games, and doing anything creative. And if there’s something new I haven’t tried before, as long as it’s safe, I’m always willing to give it a go.
One last thing before you go, you’re probably wondering how I approach working in the workplace, right? I value candor, transparency, self-awareness, and above all, understanding. Not everyone perfectly fits a job description, and that’s okay, people often bring strengths that go beyond what’s written on paper.
I love being part of a team with diverse strengths and weaknesses; it gives everyone an opportunity to shine. I want to feel welcomed, inspired, and motivated every day I go to work, especially knowing that the work I do serves and supports others.

Awards
Women Exemplar Award
The Women Exemplar Award highlights from personal life and professional career, and encouraged the audience to consider how various “spheres” of importance (family, academic life, career, hobbies, roles, etc.) travel in a nonlinear fashion throughout one’s lifetime, often influencing and intersecting in unexpected, yet beneficial ways. I received this in my Spring Semester of 2017.
Web and Interactive Media Award
The Web and Interactive Media Student Achievement Award is presented to a faculty-selected student, enrolled in the web and interactive media major, on the basis of scholastic achievement, work ethic, character, contribution to the department and contribution to fellow students. I received this award in my Spring Semester of 2017.

The Dean's List is announced by the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Provost at the completion of each semester.
