My Work
I’m glad you are here! Well, where do I start... I should probably start with who I am. I am a Product Designer, with over 8 years of experience. Starting out I actually wanted to be a Video Game Designer, however, coding was incredibly intimidating; I only knew HTML and CSS at the time. When I went to college I started Web Design which seemed like the perfect medium for me. I worked in academia first at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and then started to work for Fearless, Inc., where started my world in government work. I always strive for the best I can be to cater to my clients needs, but also while following the Human Centered Design process! I could go on and on, but let my work show you what I am really about!

Women Exemplar Award
The Women Exemplar Award highlights from personal life and professional career, and encouraged the audience to consider how various “spheres” of importance (family, academic life, career, hobbies, roles, etc.) travel in a nonlinear fashion throughout one’s lifetime, often influencing and intersecting in unexpected, yet beneficial ways. I received this in my Spring Semester of 2017.
Web and Interactive Media Award
The Web and Interactive Media Student Achievement Award is presented to a faculty-selected student, enrolled in the web and interactive media major, on the basis of scholastic achievement, work ethic, character, contribution to the department and contribution to fellow students. I received this award in my Spring Semester of 2017.
Dean's List
The Dean's List is announced by the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Provost at the completion of each semester. The list will include all full-time students who have a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or better. I have received Dean's List for the following semesters: Fall 2014, Spring 2015, Fall 2015, Fall 2016, Spring 2017.
Here’s what people are saying about Kristen
"Kristen consistently delivers high-quality work for her role. She embodies Fearless' values in both her work and her
interactions with teammates and clients.
Her efforts have brought stability to WECMS-Healthcare.gov and reinforced Fearless' value on the contract. Kristen's humility, courage, excellence, and impact make her an invaluable team member and a true example of being "purple."
Sybyl Cardoza
Senior Consultant, Experience & Design at Fearless
“I have worked on the WECMS contract with Kristen, although indirectly since I am not on the Healthcare project. As a WECMS designer, Kristen is a highly valued team member. She is dedicated to learning and improving her craft, contributes thoughtfully to designer team calls, and isn't afraid to ask for help when needed. I enjoy working with Kristen and her team-player attitude!”
