My Work

LinkedIn

Nice to meet you, I’m Kristen.

I am a Product Designer with over eight years of experience delivering user-centered digital solutions that thoughtfully balance accessibility, usability, and technical constraints. I specialize in building scalable design systems, defining clear information architecture, developing research-driven personas, and leading usability testing to solve complex user challenges.

I partner closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, content, and stakeholders, to align user needs with business objectives. My work prioritizes compliance with Section 508 standards and the establishment of measurable success metrics to ensure solutions are both inclusive and outcomes-driven.

My mission is to create intuitive, accessible web and mobile experiences that empower users and drive meaningful impact. With deep expertise in tools like Figma and a strong commitment to inclusive design, I strive to bridge the gap between strategy and execution, transforming complexity into clarity through purposeful, human-centered design.

Who are you, really?

You’ve read my LinkedIn bio, but what about my backstory? I’ll keep it simple. I’m a fun-loving, caring, and passionate woman who might surprise you in more ways than one. I love playing video games daily, grinding through levels to earn the ultimate gear, but I also enjoy spending time outdoors, soaking up the sunshine and actually touching grass.

I’m a big fan of all trying kinds of food (especially anything spicy), playing board games, and doing anything creative. And if there’s something new I haven’t tried before, as long as it’s safe, I’m always willing to give it a go.

One last thing before you go, you’re probably wondering how I approach working in the workplace, right? I value candor, transparency, self-awareness, and above all, understanding. Not everyone perfectly fits a job description, and that’s okay, people often bring strengths that go beyond what’s written on paper.

I love being part of a team with diverse strengths and weaknesses; it gives everyone an opportunity to shine. I want to feel welcomed, inspired, and motivated every day I go to work, especially knowing that the work I do serves and supports others.
